I own a previous version of these controls and would like to upgrade to get the OPC client capabilties - how can I upgrade ?
A: Upgrade packages are available for users of pre Version 3.0 versions of the controls. You will need to upgrade your base license and you will also need to purchase an OPC deployment license.
Q: If i'm not going to use the OPC client capabilities, do I need a deployment license ?
A:
No you do not -- deployment licenses for putting copies of our ActiveX controls on other computers with your compiled applications are only needed when using the OPC capabilities. We offer very low cost deployment licenses including an unlimited # of machines deployment license.
Q: I need to put the product on multiple development machines, what do I need ?
A:
For development computers you will need additional developer licenses for each machine you plan to develop on using our controls. We offer additional developer licenses at an approximate 65% discount off your first license - we want to make it easy to be honest about your development machine usage. Q: Do you offer packages with OPC servers and the controls together ?
